With over three decades of leadership in graduate business education, Bill Kooser has held nearly every key role within a business school. As former Associate Dean at Chicago Booth, he led departments spanning Admissions, Career Services, International Programs, Executive Education, and the EMBA. His career has shaped MBA programs around the world and informed strategy at the highest levels.

Bill’s deep understanding of the global MBA landscape makes him a trusted advisor for applicants navigating complex decisions about school selection, career alignment, and long-term ROI. He works closely with candidates across industries and continents, helping them clarify their goals and craft compelling applications to top programs.

In addition to his admissions work, Bill is a frequent writer and speaker on topics ranging from business education trends to career development. He holds a BA from Yale, and MBAs from both Chicago Booth and Katholieke Universiteit te Leuven in Belgium.

Outside of work, Bill enjoys swimming several times a week and playing trumpet and electric bass. He’s also proud to be part of a family of MBAs – his wife and daughters are all business school grads.
