As the former Director of Admissions, Marketing, and Financial Aid for INSEAD, Caroline Diarte Edwards has reviewed thousands of applications and personally admitted over 7,000 students. Her extensive knowledge of international admissions, paired with her passion for expanding access to top-tier business education, makes her one of the most respected figures in the admissions world.

Caroline began her career in management consulting with Andersen in London before completing her MBA at INSEAD. She went on to work at the International Finance Corporation, focusing on business development in emerging markets. She has lived and worked in the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Canada, the US, India, Singapore, and Indonesia, bringing a global lens to every client interaction.

As a recognized thought leader, Caroline is frequently quoted in outlets such as the Financial Times, The Economist, Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and The New York Times. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cambridge.

Caroline speaks English, French, Spanish, and (rusty) German. She has four teenage daughters, who are giving her an increasing number of gray hairs, and enjoys long runs, cold plunges, and creative cooking.
