Corey Hester brings a multidisciplinary edge to the Fortuna team with a background that bridges business, law, journalism, and leadership. With experience working in the admissions offices at both Dartmouth Tuck and Harvard Law School, Corey understands the nuances of top-tier application review – and how to help candidates stand out.

As a coach, Corey specializes in guiding non-traditional applicants, reapplicants, and waitlist candidates. He has successfully helped many secure admission – and scholarships – to elite business schools, including full academic awards.

A trained journalist and TEDx speaker, Corey has earned over 50 bylines and held roles as a reporter, editor, and publisher. His storytelling expertise empowers applicants to craft powerful, authentic narratives. Beyond writing, Corey’s experience as a former aviation company CEO, honorary military commander, and board director allows him to help clients elevate their leadership profiles with impact.

Corey holds an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business and a BA in Journalism from the University of Alaska Anchorage. He is currently completing both his JD and MPA at Harvard.
