Alterrell Mills brings a unique mix of academic leadership, storytelling expertise, and strategic operations experience to his role as an MBA admissions coach. A graduate of Harvard Business School, Alterrell co-led the African American Student Union (AASU), where he organized admissions events, academic excellence sessions, and cross-club panels. He’s also a published author of two HBS case studies and remains active in the admissions process as a volunteer for Harvard’s AlumniChat program.

Professionally, Alterrell has held strategy and operations roles across the nonprofit, for-profit, and B-corp sectors, with experience in industries including financial services, clean energy, and tech. He’s coached candidates accepted into top MBA programs at Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, and Columbia, and is known for his ability to guide clients through powerful personal storytelling.

Alterrell holds a BA in Psychology and an MBA in General Management, both from Harvard. He’s deeply curious and culture-driven, constantly exploring new ideas, perspectives, and media.

In his dream life, Alterrell would host a talk show interviewing reality TV stars, research scientists, and niche content creators. Until then, you’ll find him immersed in sci-fi, discovering obscure YouTube essays, or reflecting on that time he summited Mt. Kilimanjaro with classmates – his first and last hiking adventure.
