You’ll work with a seasoned admissions coach to shape your core narrative, assess your school fit, and develop a smart plan for recommendations and storytelling—so you can move forward with focus and maximize your impact.

How It Works
MBA Application Jumpstart is a three-hour engagement, with thoughtful prep and follow-up throughout. Here’s what to expect:
1. Intake & Assessment
Before we meet, you’ll complete the Fortuna Application Strategy Questionnaire to help us understand your background, goals, and natural talents.
2. Initial Strategy Session (~60 minutes)
In your first coaching session, we’ll dive deep into your profile—discussing your academic background, career trajectory, leadership experiences, and long-term goals. Together, we’ll explore opportunities to showcase your candidacy.
3. Personalized Action Plan (~30 minutes)
After the session, your coach will create a customized briefing that outlines key takeaways, strategic recommendations, and a tailored roadmap for your MBA journey. This is your personalized game plan.
4. Debrief Session (~30 minutes)
Once you’ve had time to review the plan, you’ll meet again with your coach to discuss it in detail. You’ll refine your strategy, get answers to your questions, and walk away with clear next steps.
5. Letters of Recommendation (~60 minutes)
In this session, we will discuss who to select to write your letters of recommendation, as well as how to best approach your recommenders and prepare them for this request. We will work with you to determine the best anecdotes to share with them as they answer the recommendation questions and also ensure that your recommendation letters help to paint an authentic picture of your candidacy.
